Alex Crisses realized his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School. He’s a George F. Baker Scholar from this academic institution. Previous to receiving his MBA, he graduated out of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from this school. Furthermore, he was the recipient of the Highest Honor of the school. He uses his acumen and skills gained from his academic studies to make intelligent investments in progressive and innovative internet and infrastructure software enterprises.

Alex Crisses has practical business knowledge in the field of investment banking. He worked at Credit Suisse First Boston’s Global Energy and Power Group as an analyst ahead of joining Insight Venture Partners in 2002. Furthermore, Mr. Crisses was a GFI Software Board of Directors member. He additionally served as an observer on the Board of Directors for Scriptologic Corporation. His business expertise proves valuable to him in his business pursuits, for instance in his leadership role in Insight Venture Partner’s investment in SolarWinds, Inc. SolarWinds, founded in 1999, is a major provider of Windows-based network discovery, network monitoring, and network management software.

While devoting major effort to his business accountabilities, Alex Crisses also makes time for not for profit work. He is an advocate of the work that NYC-based Minds Matter undertakes. Minds Matter is a charitable entity for high school students who are underprivileged. This non-profit organization helps students who have achieved academic success in high school, prepare for higher education to help promote their careers in the disciplines of their choosing. Previously, Mr. Crisses was Minds Matter’s Executive Committee member and Director of Fundraising. Generally, concerning businesses and charitable organizations, he concentrates his effort and time to promote progressive courses so these organizations can reach their objectives.
